1. The Service

FancyText.dev is a free online utility that converts regular text into styled Unicode characters. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, impersonate, defame, or threaten any person or group.
• Distribute malware, phishing content, or otherwise harmful material.
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or disrupt the Service.
• Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or access controls.

3. User-generated content

Any text you enter into the converter is processed in your browser and is not stored by us. You are solely responsible for the text you generate and how you use it on third-party platforms. You must comply with the terms of any platform where you paste styled text (Instagram, Discord, TikTok, etc.).

4. Intellectual property

The FancyText.dev site design, logos, page layouts, written content, code, and compilation of styles are the property of FancyText.dev and are protected by copyright law. The underlying Unicode characters are a public standard maintained by the Unicode Consortium and are not owned by us.

You may freely copy and use the styled text output for personal and commercial purposes. You may not republish, mirror, or clone the FancyText.dev site itself without written permission.

5. Third-party services & platforms

Platform names referenced on this site (Instagram, Discord, TikTok, Twitter/X, WhatsApp, YouTube, Telegram, Reddit, Twitch, LinkedIn, Roblox, Snapchat, Facebook, and others) are trademarks of their respective owners. FancyText.dev is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these platforms.

The Service uses Google Analytics for traffic measurement and Google AdSense for advertising. Use of these third parties is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided without any warranty. We do not guarantee that styled text will display correctly on every platform or device, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

Some platforms filter, strip, or ban certain Unicode ranges. Always test before relying on styled text in important contexts (usernames, legal names, etc.).

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FancyText.dev and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from the Service shall be resolved in the competent courts of the operator's jurisdiction.
